An attempt to define the concept of 'Gebrauchstext' (text of use) on the basis of the concept of 'world' in the philosophical tradition of Husserl. A 'Gebrauchstext' is a text for everyday usage, in everyday language, as distinguished from literary texts and scientific texts.
