The book contains a long chapter on presupposition. A brief history of the notion is followed by S.'s main claim (and some applications): there is no need for a presuppositional logic; instead one has to distinguish between logical form (which does not depend on the context) and semantic form (which includes elements that are only interpretable if certain contextual presuppositions are satisfied).
