A comparison between the logical concept of implication and the natural language conditional 'if ... then'. It is concluded that logic is only a limited description of natural languages. Instead of deciding, as a consequence, that logic is not about natural language at all, A. argues that logic should be extended to make it fit to cope with natural language.
