Testing the Interactive Alignment theory (alignment=priming result), it is shown that pitch (F0) alignment occurs yet doesn't uphold two typical priming features: dose subjection and pertinacity. A different mechanism needs to account for alignment along constant language dimensions like speech rate and pitch.
