Annotation

A state of the art of the psychology of proverbs, in view of the problems of the nature of abstract mental entities, and of the generativity of behavioral acts. The underlying view is that language understanding involves the elaboration and integration of information that, by itself, is insufficient to specify either abstract mental entities or their result, the recognition and production of novel instances.
