Using an approach adapted from autoethnography (Chang, 2007; Ellis et al., 2011), this study documents and analyzes the sense of humor of an individual across a range of contexts in the conduct of ordinary life. It thus considers an individual sense of humor as a dimension of identity in embodied practice.
