This paper explores the actual status of Yiddish as a home language and Modern Hebrew influence on Yiddish nouns and noun plurals spoken in the Sanz Hasidic community, where Yiddish and Modern Hebrew have been rivalling native tongues in ambivalent bilingual sociolinguistic circumstances for more than 60 years.
