Annotation

This paper discusses how paradigm copying (e.g. from he Siberian Turkic Sakha language into a dialect of the Northern Tungusic Éven language, spoken in the northeastern Siberian village of Sebjan-Küöl) occurs in a situation of widespread bilingualism, with code-switching occupying a key position. Such mixed forms also play a significant role in linguistic speaker identity, as previously suggested for mixed languages like Copper Island Aleut.
