Annotation

Multigroup analyses of a sample of monolingual native Dutch and bilingual immigrant Moroccan–Dutch and Turkish–Dutch 3-year-old children, speaking Tarifit-Berber, show a strong influence on both L1 and L2 abilities of language specific( home) input in literate and oral activities. The study also reveals positive cross-language transfer from L1 to L2 and competition between L1 and L2 input.
