Annotation

The authors study stress in the Paya dialect of Kuna (spoken in Panama and Columbia) with respect to the role of focus and the old-/new information distinction. They also discuss the contrast between fortis or lenis voiced stops, which can only be identified by reference to the environment in which they occur.
