Annotation

An extensive critique of current artificial-intelligence theories of natural language processing (in particular those proposed by M.Minsky, R.Schank, E.Wanner, R.Kaplan, and T.Winograd), with at its core the claim that AI-research is completely unrevealing and non-explanatory. The critique is written from the point of view of the transformational generative theory in linguistics.
