Annotation

W. claims that argument is not a kind of logic but a kind of communication; conversation based on disagreement. Seeing argument in this way has consequences for epistemic/political matters as well as for such constructs as rationality, freedom, and the theory of fallacies. The theoretical model is constructed from elements of Symbolic Interactionism, Personal Construct theory, Constructivism, and Barbara O'Keefe's work on logics of message design.
