Annotation
This paper contends that Dewey's logic was conceived as a continuation of Aristotle's, in that it was a search for an adequate means to express and warrant theoretical truths of modern science and our practical valuations. The core idea of this logic runs that truth-functional scientific discourse is embedded in a broader context of pre-theoretical, practical experience.
