Annotation

This study proposes to conceptually validate the impact of breadth and depth of vocabulary knowledge on reading comprehension in academic settings and to empirically evaluate a test measuring three depth dimension elements, namely synonymy, polysemy, and collocation. The findings confirm the importance of vocabulary knowledge in reading assessment.
