Annotation

This article examines and compares the educational policies and language maintenance levels encountered in the linguistically diverse societies of Australia and The Philippines. The study involves senior secondary school students and their parents, respondents who were selected from three non-Tagalog-speaking Philippine communities, that is the Cebuano, Ilocano and Waray, and from the Filipino immigrant community in Australia.
