Annotation
This article deals with origins and directions of language change within the Cajun/French system of locative prepositions. It is demonstrated by systemic and extralinguistic proof that some of these forms constitute interference-induced innovations, whilst others constitute internally-motivated innovations, indirectly stimulated by language contact.
