Annotation

This paper explores how perceived affirmative action admission at college entry affects academic performance of Black and Latino students at a large multiethnic university at the end of the first year. Social identity stereotype threat appears to negatively impact academic performance of students high in ethnic identification, whilst personal identity stereotype threat negatively influences academic performance of students low in ethnic identification.
