This paper reveals how ethnic and gender diversity respectively negatively and poistively affect group assignment outcomes of business students in a small Swedish university. Intervening process variables, such as group communication, conflict and problem solving accuracy, do not appear to be affected by diversity, or to influence group outcomes.
