Annotation

This paper explores the crossing of African languages and information communication technologies (ICTs) and African development and resulting possibilities and gaps. It investigates some initiatives handling social and economic deprivation whilst reinforcing African indigenous languages and indicates defects in using ICTs devices to mainstream the indigenous African languages into development programs.
