Annotation

Electronic picture storybooks frequently cover motion pictures, sounds, and background music in lieu of static pictures, and hotspots that determine words when clicked on. This paper explores whether these supplementary components help word acquisition and story understanding and whether impact amasses making the animated e-book that also comprises hotspots the most propitious apparatus. Kindergartners benefitted most from vocabulary after reading interactive animated e-books.
