This paper collates two methods for sizing pragmatic skill over a stay abroad. The methods diverge in how they catch specific facets of pragmatic skill. Functional assays stress strategic facets of learners' requesting conduct. Evolution is better catched by a collation of learners' lexical material. Verbiage (jawing) amain impacts lexical rates of evolution.
