The author explores the field of interaction grammar. The main aim of this monograph is to develop better understanding and perception of utterances by implementing the tools introduced by Aleksy Awdiejew. Two levels of interpretation are taken into account. The first – standard – leads to objective information about the picture of reality or the speaker’s mental state. The second – the interaction level – provides data about the speaker’s subjective pragmatic targets. Both stages are necessary for the highest level of understanding of the text under investigation.
