Abstract

The study investigates how the world of objects is conceptualized and represented in words on the basis of Levantine Epipalaeolithic. It studies the way in which figurative devices such as metaphor, metonymy and synecdoche were used to create a connection between the words and their physical representation in the world. The author focuses on the definition of distinct cultures, identification of two ethnic trajectories in relation to separate environmental zones and the climate as a key factor causing change. These mechanisms depend on the analytical operations to transform the world of objects into language data.
