Abstract

In this paper, metaphors are understood as as critical/historical ontologemas of spirituality. Enchey’s main hypothesis concerns the key signs and meanings occurring within the realm of a culturally-historically coded space, which produce a schematized vision of national and/or cultural identities. Also, Enchey proposes two sub-hypotheses. On the one hand, that individual attitudes at the cultural and historical stages are included within the “invisible cultural texture of time” finding metaphorical representation. On the other hand, the idea of cultural texture as producing a vision towards spiritual as curtained reality, participating in the process of cultural assimilative construal.
