Abstract
Children begin early to reflect and process language meaning: they perceive that there are elements that can be stacked, composed and reassembled like bricks of Lego. The goal initially is not clear, but adults know that this will lead to a rich and well built language, to an appropriate understanding, analysis and elaboration of text, to a structured and personal written work. Individuals with previous language disorders and reading problems need a sort of “gym” where to practice to recognize figures of speech, ways of saying, similarities, ridges, differences, wordplay, alterations, exceptions and the violations of grammatical rules. The aim of this book is to teach how to read reality with the attitude of an investigator who at the crime scene still does not know what happened and must, with patience, collect, analyze and interpret every little clue, placing it into context, revealing the results in a linguistic learning path.
