Soccer has replaced religion in today’s world. Words like worship, belief and yearning for happiness used to be related solely to religion but now have taken on another meaning in the realm of sports. Also, by means of secondary sources, our results show a series of symbols and rites that would seem more fitting within the field of religion than soccer. The idea of faith, once used in the supernatural and abstract sense, now describes the very human collective of soccer teams.
