Abstract
The article looks into the structural details of the blended mental space BABA-YAGA in the discourse of a fairy tale based on G. Fauconnier and M. Turner's conceptual integration theory. Analysing the culture and traditions of the ancient Slavs, the author reconstructs the input mental spaces of the blend, suggests a model of how the blend BABA-YAGA is formed, and describes the peculiar traits of of this model type.
