Abstract

This paper investigates how we are cognitively affected by embodied information. The research involves experiments that tested subjects’ reactions related to coping-appraisal, threat-appraisal, and protection motivation, all regarding skin cancer protection. It is claimed that the results are decisive on metaphor-oriented approaches to embodiment.
