Despite of various algorithms for metaphor interpretation, there is a lack of unified evaluation standards or automatic evaluation systems. Since nominal metaphor can be understood from many aspects, the commonly used automatic evaluation method cannot fit well in analyzing the metaphor. In order to meet the unique requests of nominal metaphor interpretation, a new method is needed urgently. The present article first introduces the characteristics of nominal metaphor in terms of multi-angles interpretation and similar structure. It then puts forward an evaluation criteria that is in accordance with human cognition, and a dynamic evaluation method that is explainable. Finally, it describes an experiment on the interpretation of 500 context-free Chinese nominal metaphors. The experiment showed that the method was reasonable and effective, and had similar scores with human rators.
