Abstract
The article presents the study of metaphoric discourse as revealed via public interviews with the American actor Charlie Sheen during a difficult time in his life when he probably suffered from a mental disorder. During the inverviews Sheen used figurative language, mostly referring to common conventional metaphoric concepts. It is argued that Sheen’s metaphoric discourse, rich in allegorical themes, was still creative and coherent. This indicates that even allegorical thought is grounded in common embodied simulation processes.
