This article addresses the issue of terminology management in the context of community interpreting. Starting from empirical findings on strategies that community interpreters follow when solving terminological problems, it identifies the types of knowledge that community interpreters need to manage in preparation of an adequate design of term bases for community interpreters. Keeping these considerations in mind the authors also point to relevant issues to be addressed in the framework of community interpreter training.
