Abstract

One of the most influential factors in the training of interpreters is the status of the students' mother tongue in international conferences as well as its resistance the the growing tendency to use English as the sole means of communication. This article deals with the impact of the status of minor languages on quality requirements in interpreting as well as the quantitative need for interpreters in such languages.
