In this book on technical translation, the author proposes a number of principles to constitute a firm foundation for such type of translation. First a definition and general theoretical considerations are provided. Consequently the author discusses the documentation process and the translation process and in the last chapter she demonstrates that the documenation process requires complementary terminological research.
