Abstract
This article is about the use of conditional phrases in German arbitration texts. First, the author explains the research subject, she then goes deeper into the principles of text structure and has a look at the macro and micro level of the text. She looks at conditional junctures and discusses this grammatical form on several levels: norms, pragmatics, etc.
