This paper does not offer a new framework or classification of the modes and types of interpreting, nor does it reiterate any existing grouping, distinction or taxonomy. It merely endeavours to provide definitions and explanations of major keywords of the field in a random order so that those less familiar with the profession have a reference collection of relevant terminology to fall back on whenever needed.
