Abstract

In this book the author attempts to show the special consistency of Benjamin's thoughts by looking at his translations. First the author presents Benjamin's speech philopshy, then she discusses his translation theory by comparing the original French version of Recherche with Eva Rechel-Mertens' Auf der Such nach der verlorenen Zeit.
