Abstract

This article is about positions and perspectives in community interpreting. Research within this field can be performed within a culture specific background. Two positions are possible: the ‘culture-no-thank-you’ approach and the ‘culture-yes-please’ approach. Community interpreting is further investigated within the second approach.
