In the present book the author elaborates a translation relevant text typology based on theoretical findings of linguistics and communication studies. For every text type a translation method is developed, motivated and described. The main focus is on the operative text type. The aim of this book is to provide a well-grounded theoretical and practical translation methodology and to present an insight in translation problems.
