Although the main steps of the dubbing process are basically the same everywhere, it may change depending on the country, even on the studio. In the present article the Spanish reality and the Catalan reality in particular is analysed, which differs from that found in other countries. Among the different phases described are the transcription process, the translation process, the proof-reading phase and the synchronisation process.
