Much has been written about the process and product of translation, but little about class dynamics. Many questions are awaiting an answer both on what should be taught, the syllabus, and how this should be done, the teaching method. The present article attempts to provide an answer to these questions and presents a communicative and interactive approach to translator training, suggesting that there is a need to explore new ways to train effectively and to share teaching ideas, as well as a need for more experimental research.
