Abstract
Teh application of a particular theoretical concept may be determined by the linguistic, cultural, social and ideological factors that exert their influence on the practice of tranlsation. Knowledge of Translation Theory can motivate specific, practical decisions. The primary objective of this article is to provide an outline of a course to train students to translate theoretically and to provide them with the necessary theoretical tools to enable them to denfd and justity the decisions they take as translators.
