Stressing the imporance of accuracy and the maintenance of confidentiality in Japanese language interpreting and translating work, this article describes the legal field in general, identifies the various types of language support services that are in demand, as well as how to get started or to increase one's contacts. The article concludes with references to tried and proven tools of the trade.
