Abstract
Both the nubmer of non-English speaking individuals in the United Sttes and the number of individuals with disabilities are increasing. The present article discusses the importance of accurate rehabilitation translation services and the necessity of language translation for nonimmigrants. After briefly defining disability and outling the main provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), this article present some language translation/interpretation issues that are specific to disability and the provision of rehabilitation services.
