Abstract
In pursuing an inquiry into the teaching/training of translators/interpreters, we face certain crucial questions, among them: do we have to teach people to translate and interpret, and why? What do we need to teach/train them? How should we teach them? Whom do we teach, and when? In this paper, the author attempts to give answers to these questions in relation to the contents of curricula for the training of future sworn translators/interpreters.
