Abstract

Scientists nowadays admit that a number of literary and semi-literary texts that were traditionally not included in the 'literature' and were excluded from an intellectual and academic research are actually part of the literary culture of a society, and that the study of these texts contributes to the development of the life sciences. The author describes the ‘traditional’ literary texts as 'primary systems’ and the former ‘semi-literary’ texts as secondary systems. In this article the author also focuses on the children's literature and translated literature.
