Abstract
A Skopos typology can sometimes look redundant and irrelevant, but the author of this article considers to be useful, in the light of a descriptive and culture-sensitive translation science, to try and formulate a skopos theory that covers all translatological activities. The author covers null-translation, pseudo-translation, homologous translation, analogue translation, dialogical and trialogical translation, and diascopic translation.
