Abstract

"L'histoire des rois de France" constitutes an enormous orchestration of translations from Latin, tracing the history of France from the mythic Trojan origin tot the reign of Philippe-Auguste. The author of this article developed a glossary of which he discusses the principal aspects relevant to the translation in relation to the Latin in the manuscript of the 13th century and the version of this translation in the second manuscript of the 15th century, which shows the evolution of French (semantic and lexical aspects).
