Abstract
Translating from Greek into Latin in order to obtain a version in Middle French set a lot of challenges for the translators. This article discusses the respective situation of each translator and his translation strategy. This shows each translator deals with the source text in order to obtain a translation which best complies with their patron's idea of faithfulness.
