The article discusses : (1) the difference between contextualized and non-contextualized information and how these distinct types of information affect the interpreter's ability to anticipate and predict; and (2) the rationale for and de development of consecutive note-taking skills pertinent to particular situations. It concludes with the some exercises of graduated difficulty in English which may be used for note-taking practice.
