Abstract
Live interpreting for the media is a specific form of interpreting which reaches a vast audience, thus largely determining the general public's image of interpreters. The article discusses which forms of media interpreting can be used for a specific type of broadcast and takes a look at the difference between the media interpreter's working conditions and those of conference interpreters.
